About the period report

The Period Report is about helping women and men, whether they menstruate or not, to understand. Our goal is to give people as much understanding and access to any information about periods; from the 'tampon tax', international issues, and even what its like to be incaracerrated while on your period.

Jail's

What hygiene products are provided for women in jails? Most women still have to buy their own products even while being incarcerated. 

pink tax

Vast amounts of womens products undergo a pink tax. In 33 states, women are still being taxed for hygiene products when in fact meaning an additional 50% of the population faces extra taxes every month.  

period. + Guatemala

Washington State University is partnering with Hearts in Motion on a spring break trip to Guatemala in March of 2020. As the trip has grown, it wasoriginaly aimed to help animic people by providing 'iron fish' now they're expanding and bringing reusable period products to women who may need them.
